What Really Matters

The Little Things...

It’s the little things that end up being the big things that really matter.

Like doing a double take when I notice the paint on the green frog soap dispenser pump in the bathroom.

And the white lego that was somehow left behind.

In this second, I pause and smile. And then I race to grab my cellphone to capture this fantastical and priceless moment.

My five-year-old baby boy is growing up so fast. And this image… This moment in time…

This exhilarating childhood of his… Where he paints and splashes and wonders and plays and laughs and kisses and cuddles and smiles all day long is the only thing that matters.

It’s the little things that end up being the big things that really matter.
